We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic, user-friendly websites. You will build custom themes and plugins, ensure site performance and security, and collaborate with designers and content teams to deliver responsive, SEO-friendly websites that meet client or business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
- Ensure websites are responsive, fast, and optimized for SEO
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to implement website features
- Integrate third-party APIs and plugins as needed
- Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring compatibility with the latest WordPress versions
- Follow best practices for clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Stay updated on WordPress trends, tools, and security best practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience developing custom WordPress websites
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Strong experience with popular builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization
- Familiarity with version control (Git) is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues independently
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience developing WordPress sites and custom themes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (preferred)
